The use of the internet by schools and libraries is federally regulated for content. You have agreed to the conditions for use of this computer and the internet through the Appropriate Use Policy included in your student packet. Violations of the AUP may result in suspension from network access of the computer system for a period of 1 week, 2 weeks or the remainder of the year. Violations include, among other things, altering the desktop or browser preferences.
The internet supports a wide variety of sources of information. Books, periodicals and daily papers are regulated by a publisher. There is no publisher for the internet and for this reason it is important to judge the content by the source. Our school subscribes to several information services that you are welcome to use. There are links to these services on this page.
Search engines can also be used to find information, however information services will contain more reliable sources.
